The parishioners of St. John’s Anglican Church Cairns enjoy a wide range of activities, to suit all ages. Come and join us for worship, fellowship, and lots of fun. Whether you are a permanent resident or just visiting, you are most welcome.

We have an active and vibrant Sunday School led by our wonderfully enthusiastic Sunday School Teachers.

Kids Club is held in the hall at 4.30pm on the third Saturday of each month.  Adults and children are welcome to join us for family fun.  We enjoy fun and games, singing, and other activities.  We also have a light tea.  Call Judy on 4053 6752 for details.

We have Home Groups that meet on Wednesdays at 9.00am at the church and 9.30am at Alma's home.

Our Singing Group meets every Monday afternoon between 5.30pm and 6.30pm in the church hall

Toc H is a youth based group with roots going back to World War I.  Our splendid Toc H team run programs focusing on youth development.  View their activities diary here.

We have an active Cursillo group led by Deacon Elisabeth and Nigel.  You can contact them here. 

We have two Indoor Bowls groups that use St. John's hall.

• St. Peter's Indoor Bowls Group meet from 12 noon each Tuesday
• St. John's Indoor Bowls Group meet from 11.30 am each Thursday

We have Mothers Union activities.

We have a Prayer Circle for those in need of prayer.  If you need prayers for yourself or someone else please phone Olwyn on 4053 4812.

We have a Ladies Bible Fellowship group for study, prayer, and contemplation of the scriptures.
